
Shari Smith (Administrative Assistant)
As the Administrative Assistant, my responsibilities include supporting Pastor Casey with scheduling and general office tasks. I handle incoming phone calls and assist visitors throughout the week. Additionally, I serve as the Recording Secretary for the church council and provide administrative support to the executive team.
I maintain the church calendar, coordinating schedules for internal ministry teams as well as external groups who use or rent our facilities. I prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to the Synod. My duties also include managing the annual report, bulletins, and newsletters, overseeing both content and distribution. In collaboration with the Pastor and various church groups, I ensure accuracy and clarity in all published materials.
Furthermore, I coordinate worship helpers, send weekly reminders, and publicize meetings and congregational votes appropriately. I am also responsible for counting weekly offerings, maintaining member contribution records, and mailing contribution statements as requested by Mission Support.

Cindy Wragge (Redeemer Council President)
The Council President is responsible for leading monthly council meetings and working directly with the Pastor and Administrative Assistant to address routine operational needs of the church. The President maintains open communication with each Ministry Team, supporting them in achieving their goals, and facilitates all congregational actions. Additionally, the President presides over the Annual Meeting and any Special Congregational Meetings held throughout the year.

Lon Strand (President-Elect)
The role of the President-Elect is a transitional position. In this role, the individual is mentored by the Council President and Past President in preparation for assuming the position of Council President the following year. The President-Elect serves alongside the Pastor, Council President, and Past President on the executive team, gaining comprehensive insight into the duties and responsibilities associated with leading the Church Council.

Gail Bopp (Past President)
The role of the Past President is to serve as a mentor and provide support to the Council President and President-Elect. As a member of the executive team, the Past President may also assist other executive team members in supporting ministry teams, special projects, the Pastor, and church staff as needed.

Aubrey Weitzenkamp (Youth & Learning Team)
The Director of the Youth and Learning Ministry Team plans and oversees the congregation's entire educational program, emphasizing youth ministry and nurturing the spiritual growth of young people.

Glenda Hingst (Spiritual Fellowship Team)
The Spiritual Fellowship Team seeks to strengthen fellowship among congregation members and within the broader community, both spiritually and socially. Our goals include integrating new members into congregational life and fostering mutual cooperation, trust, and enjoyment among members and community neighbors. We strive to organize events that offer meaningful opportunities to socialize, deepen relationships, and nurture friendships and fellowship throughout the church and community.

Derek Hoetfelker (Properties)
As head of the Property Committee, I am accountable to the church council and congregation for maintaining the church grounds and building. Our team ensures timely lawn care, snow removal, light replacement, and the completion of various routine maintenance tasks. Additionally, we manage larger projects, such as painting the bell tower, renovating the bell, and refurbishing the cross atop the building. If it involves church property, I’m your go-to person.

Sally Oberg (Worship & Music)The Worship and Music Team is involved in all aspects of congregational worship. The team’s responsibilities include:
- Assisting the pastor with planning Sunday services and special holiday services.
- Arranging pastoral coverage whenever Pastor Casey is unavailable.
- Recruiting and supervising organists, pianists, and other musicians.
- Staffing, training, and scheduling worship assistants, including ushers and lectors.

Nick Janssen (Mission Support)
The Mission Support Committee at Redeemer Lutheran meets regularly to manage and monitor the congregation’s budget and finances. Our responsibilities include preparing the annual budget by evaluating payroll expenses, committee requests, overhead costs, and special funds. The committee presents this proposed budget to the congregation for approval during the church’s annual meeting. Additionally, the Mission Support team oversees special outreach donations, unexpected expenditures, and adjustments to investments.
