Shari Smith (Administrative Assistant) As the administrative assistant my duties include helping Pastor Casey with any scheduling and office work as needed. I answer phone calls and assist with walk-ins during the week. I also serve as the recording secretary for council, and assist the executive team as needed. I also keep the calendar and schedule groups that use/rent the church. This includes teams within the church and outside groups. I am responsible to Synod for required reports and lists. I am responsible for the annual report, bulletins and the newsletter, both in content and distribution. I work with pastor and groups to make sure the information in these publications is correct. I also set up worship helpers, send reminders weekly making sure meetings/votes are published as necessary. I count weekly offering, record giving of members and mail contribution statements as requested by Mission Support.
Gail Bopp (Redeemer Council President) The responsibility of the Council President is to lead the monthly council meetings, work directly with the Pastor and Administrative Assistant to the needs of the routine workings of the church, to maintain open communication with each Ministry Team in order to assist them in reaching their goals, and to help facilitate any and all actions of the congregation. The president presides over the Annual Meeting and any Special Congregational Meetings held throughout the calendar year.
Cindy Wragge (President Elect) The role of the president elect is a transitory role that works under the mentorship of the council president and past president in order to assume the council president role the following year. During the time in this role, the president elect serves alongside the pastor president and president on the executive team while working to gain a broader understanding of the during of the church council president.
Karna Dam (Past President) The role of the past president is to serve as mentor and support system for the council president and president elect. The past president is also a member of the executive team. The past president may be called upon to assist other members of the executive team in supporting ministry teams, special projects as well as the pastor and church staff.
Aubrey Weitzenkamp (Youth & Learning Team) The Director of the Youth and Learning Ministry Team plans and administers the total educational program of the congregation with emphasis on the youth, providing for their spiritual growth.
Glenda Hingst (Spiritual Fellowship Team) The Spiritual Fellowship Team wants to strengthen the fellowship between congregation members and the community both spiritually and socially, integrate new members into the life of the congregation, and foster a sense of mutual cooperation, trust, and enjoyment among the members of the Congregation and the community. We strive to provide events that give members and the community opportunities to socialize, become better acquainted with each other, and nurture friendships and fellowship within the church and the community.
Derek Hoetfelker (Properties) As head of the property committee I am responsible to the council and parishioners for the upkeep of the church grounds and building. Our team makes sure that the grass gets cut, the snow is removed, the lights are changed in a timely manner and many other various jobs which fall in our hands. We also head up bigger jobs like having the bell tower painted, the bell in the bell tower being renovated, and the cross on top of the building being refurbished. If it has anything to do with church property, I’m your guy.
Sally Oberg (Worship & Music) The worship and ministry team is involved with all aspects of congregational worship. The team is responsible for:
* Supporting our pastor with the planning of Sunday services and any special holiday service.
* Helping make arrangements for any pastoral needs whenever Pastor Casey is unavailable.
* Finding and supervising organists, pianists, and other
musicians.
* Staffing, any training, and scheduling of the worship assistants including ushers and lectors.

Nick Janssen (Mission Support) The mission support committee at Redeemer Lutheran meets regularly to manage and track the congregation’s budget and finances. The committee meets to puts together the budget, taking into account payroll for paid positions, the committee requests, overhead costs and special funds. The committee proposes the budget to the congregation, asking for approval at the church’s annual voter’s meeting. The mission support team also oversees special outreach donations, unexpected expenditures and changes in investments.
